The Tabboun is a outdoor fired-hearth where Arab women would sit around and bake bread in the evenings and early morning in Arab villages throughout the Middle East from Palestine to Algeria, Saudi Arabia to Iraq and Lebanon.
It is where the women would wait for the bread to bake and share local news about their community, families, and their lives. Some of it was tidbits of news. Others were rumors.
The Tabboun offers insight, rumors, reports, news tidbits and gossip on celebrities, officials and activists in the American Arab and Muslim Community and in the Arab World and Middle East.
